Jennifer & Philip’s Wedding at the legendary Plaza Hotel in NYC was hands-down the wedding of the year! Trying to write about this “event” isn’t easy because there’s so many amazing details that were conceived by the MOB (Mother of the Bride) Kathy. We had the honor to capture her wedding a few years back at New York’s Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. So for us this was a chance to see some dear friends again and create a one of a kind wedding film of an event nobody will soon forget. The color and decor at The Plaza was simply breathtaking. This was a very well conceived theme. We heard the cake was going to be something special but it was easily an OMG moment! The cake was over the top amazing! Wow! We already know Ron Ben-Israel is one of the best wedding cake artists in the industry but this was insane. He even came to The Plaza to put on some finishing touches.
Jennifer & Philip are following in Kathy & Brian’s footsteps (almost literally) in their passion for dancing. So the first dance was beautifully choreographed and Jennifer changed dresses several times during the day. Kathy hired Niall O’Leary’s Irish Dance Troupe who are easily the most talented Irish Dancers anywhere to entertain her guests and they didn’t disappoint. Add that to some of the professional and semi-pro dancers in attendance and it’s easy to imagine the skill level in the ballroom that night. And if that wasn’t enough the weather was perfect the food was delicious and the memories will last forever. Our good friends at Camelot Photography Studios and Central Park Orchestra once again proved why they are the best at what they do.
