When we asked Larissa & Mike what type of wedding they thought they would have they described it as a great dancing crowd and a ton of fun. They weren’t kidding. Since they (and most of their respective family members) are serious golfers where better to have their reception than at Carlyle on the Green at Bethpage State Park (Home of the 2002 and 2009 US Open). Even though Larissa & Mike planned a one of a kind golf tournament for the day before their ceremony having a wedding at Carlyle on the Green isn’t all about golf (watch their Wedding Film Preview and you’ll see). You’ll notice their film begins at St. Philip & James Church in St. James, New York. This is a beautiful Church located pretty close to where Larissa got ready. (Today’s wedding tip – Logistics are always important when planning a wedding so you will experience the least amount of stress as possible). After the Church we headed over to Long Beach which was only another ten minutes or so from the Church. We filmed some fun moments on the Beach then it was over to Carlyle for a rockin’ 220-guest celebration. PC Wedding Florals created the beautiful centerpieces and all the other flowers. The party was non-stop energy thanks to Todd Barrie Music & Entertainment. There were several emotionally powerful and funny speeches at the reception. You’ll see a portion of Larissa’s sister Sasha’s speech highlighted in their Wedding Preview. Sasha’s speech is an example of just how close two families can be. Finally, I can’t finish this brief recap of the wedding without mentioning their seating chart. Actually it wasn’t really a seating chart although it did inform everyone which table to go to. It was literally a work of art. Larissa & Mike spent quite a while creating their golf themed masterpiece complete with a pond AND Sand Trap (AKA “The Bunker”). You’ll see a shot of it in the film as well as a still image below. Here’s wishing Larissa & Mike all the best! David [DMS Films][DMS Video Productions].
* Important – The Internet is a funny place nowadays. If you play the clip and it skips or stutters that’s simply the nature of some modern Internet connections. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the clip. Some connections are slow while others are less stable (sometimes connections are perfect). There are a couple of things you can try if you experience a problem. Click play letting the clip buffer for at least 30 seconds and then hit play a second time. FYI – The clip defaults to Hi-definition. You can always click on the “HD” symbol on the clip to change to Standard Definition. For some computer connections that can help.

Dave – A++!! We absolutely loved this trailer… how it went full circle starting and ending with the church, and catching all the moments in between. The shots were amazing – we paused every frame to make sure we didn’t miss anything! It was great to see our guests and a snapshot of our wedding from someone else’s eyes. We are so happy. Thank you very much! – Larissa & Mike
